The Beverly hillbillies are moving again

 

I'll have to check that out.. never heard of it before!

 

Doubt the truck owner would enjoy me sitting. He was moaning about the previous driver not making enough miles being out 5-6 weeks at a time.

Freight is slow right now. Two other of our drivers are sitting in IA and KS City waiting for vans for over 48 hours already.

Lots of stuff moving interstate, but not a whole lot going north of the border.

 

What are hot lanes for going north?

Looking at Google Maps on a laptop browser, open the menu on the left and "terrain" is just below "satellite." Once you choose that mode, a toggle appears near the bottom of the screen to go back/forth to a normal map view.

Edit to add: You have to zoom in pretty close to see the elevation numbers on the lines. As you zoom back out the contour lines vanish in favor of a feature view.
