You know the pavement goes into the Anschutz gas plant...that's the road that goes up on the mountain where we keep the bees. Brings you out on I-80 at Castle Rock if you know the gate combos. You come see me this summer and we'll take a ride over the hill

Feel better - it does suck to get old.

Maybe Carl will lend you his swamper? Only for 6 weeks or so till you heal up. I did my left shoulder almost 49 years ago and it still gives me crap from time to time

Well, been a good night. Had a very nice medium rare ribeye and some loaded potatoes. Not bad for a chain. We kept the beverages child-proof since who knows what I’ll get myself into tomorrow.

I’m getting sideways till 0600. Y’all stay safe out there.

@Ruthless is this what you’re going for? Union Pacific rigs parked nearby. They have a cutout so they can slide their fifth wheels forward. Pretty slick. Your deck appeared to be much thicker though...

    Sure

You guys can revel in all the 2 lane you want, til you ccome me up on me doing 52 up hill - then it’s all #####in and moanin.

So I got the pleasure of paying Wyoming $653 to drive down 59 from Gillette to Douglas (requiring front and rear pilots coats for another $550) and was only passed by like 4 cars -

That would be perfect, if I can figure out where to store it when not in use.

We have a shop here in town that sews canvas and such, I bet they can rig one up. Just need to send you a check for use of your patent now!

    Thanks

I get to go to the coast tomorrow. Two lanes through a twisty canyon, which is also a road I prefer in the "off season" because there's not a bunch of traffic. Oh well, it'll still be a good trip and there are plenty of wide spots in the road along the Oregon coast where I can park and eat my lunch on the beach. Meanwhile back at the yard, those guys will be playing with the corporate safety gestapo. "Oh, that's tomorrow? Glad I'll be gone!"

Ok gents, today when traffic seems to be taking forever, when you can’t find an open fuel pump, when you sit there watching some mega carrier struggle to hit a wide open parking space, just remember that it could be worse. You could be the owner of a Maxxforce engine.

Time to make the donuts. I said Let them truckers roll, 10-4!
