I'll probably get called on to help some more. I'll try to get some more better pictures. I really don't know about the top, or much about this '39 other than it was not quite a basket case when Dad got ahold of it. Previous owner had the bare bones sort of in a mock up state plus a pile of swap meet loot to complete the project some day. Then he caught cancer and needed to cash it out. Dad got it put together but from here it just seemed plagued with issues, mismatched/wrong parts, etc so I never seen it out of storage much.
He's not missing out on cruise nights, however. Re-living his youth these days in fact. This is him about 8 yrs ago posing next to the modern version of what he drove in high school. He's had that '34 since the late '90's if I recall. This was in a car club display at a World of Wheels event. It's been a runner since he got it.

We mill a lot of Maple and Poplar at the Heritage Farm Museum. We use a different power unit each year, this year was a Mc Cormick Deering.....
