These are a few of the parts I was missing to a big mill I have, the center hub for the pulley is still on the mandrel shaft.


I’d say the pulley weighs a easy 250 to 300 lbs.

Up here in Saskatchewan we considered Webb drums as top tier American made, just below Centrifuse drums. I hate to see one explode like that.
I have seen the center broke out, but to take out the drum surface that drum had to have split the brake surface in multiple places and the shoes jammed in the splits.
I think i would be looking for casting flaws in the web and contact surface and if found talking to Webb directly.
