I always figgered if you wanted to make steering linkage to go to cheap heim joints. You're plenty handy enough to cut the pipe to length and weld in the threaded bungs. Screw in a heim joint, bolt it in place of the old ball n socket assembly

Without seeing pictures of your linkage I could be talking out my kazoo, but that's my plan if my junk breaks

The ball end may be case hardened. After all these years, of little to no grease, it has very little in the way of wear. The other end is welded to the plate. I think If I tig welded it, it should be ok. I've got to pull the plate out to fix it no matter what. If I can get threaded ones, I'll replace all 3 and spend the extra time to grind out the old ones.

Only in a small town a deal like that and be able to afford it too.

Something about the kids. I've got a buddy who has 4 boys, all out of high school now and all still at home. He has 500 acres of wooded land, a couple of probably 20 acre fields, a D-6 dozer, tractors, 10 ponds, all the wood you can cut, turkey's, deer, rabbit's, squirrels, ducks, anything you could think of with country living. All those boys and not one of them has ever had an interest in anything to do with that land. He said he has never been able to get them to do anything that is available to them there. I told him if I had it you'd never see me or my son till it was time to eat or go to bed between either working or having fun.

    Lighting question
Does anyone run the combination dual revolution stop, turn, tail, back up? I’m looking at these for fluch mounts to go on the back of my wrangler.
And in terms of legality, I am also making a custom 3rd brake light to go onto the rear mount spare so when I am reversing I still have a stop light.

I'll get some more pictures on Sunday. Changing them has crossed my mind. The one that broke is attached to the steering arm that runs from the box back to the rear axle.

That ride reminds me of that KW I caught in North Bend a few weeks ago....

Flat glass, big chrome bumper, yellow kitty under the hood, Bruner rack and a shine that would put any Pete to shame. Spent the rest of my day dreaming after that ride rolled by...
