Sure. I’ll be back home next week.

Nope, he doesn’t sell any. Most of the collection been donated 1 or 2 hats at a time by people from all over. He had about a 1000 when he started but now they just keep rolling in from all around the area.

He has always had the ceiling of his basement / bar covered with hats. Always talked about having a big place to display them. He got this church for a song but it was literally falling down. He spent a lot of time and money restoring it. Kept a few pews, pulpit and the organ like it was.

New floors to roof including heat and A/C. Really helped spruce up the village. He tried to keep the outside looking authentic to the original church.

Yesterday was a write off. The place closed at 1:30 Wednesday told me 10:00 am to load Thursday. Stroll in at 9:55 am yeah go park over there we'll get ya when we want ya. 12:00 comes n goes. Wander up you guys getting to me or what's the deal you said 10 am.

Get in a dock they all pissy they expected a completely empty trailer. I had one skid and my tarps, rate con said 48' trailer, I showed up with 48' of trailer, plus you can overhang off the back. Nope they refused to load me. First time ever that's happened.

Get a new rate con ride over an hour there they close at 3:00 pm, GPS says 2:35 arrival. Here we go again, got within a mile of the place, halfway through an intersection I'm reading the signs for the low bridge coming up. ####. Can't stop in the middle of an intersection. Roll through and throw on four ways call the local LEOs. Come get me this dumb trucker needs to back up please. 12' high bridge. Clocks ticking it's 2:52 at this point. Get turned around and get in the gate at 2:59. Got loaded and rolling by 5:30, had to throw chains outside the gate

    Not exactly a banner day

You’re talking about Mr. Benny. He has some good hands working in there, they know what they are doing. I ate the lasagna on a lunch special at Sandy’s, it was really good. That BP truck stop right before the westbound ramp makes a mean meatloaf sandwich.

I got mine for 400.....they said it wouldn't start. They loaded it with a crane. I cleaned the connections and tapped on the starter. Finally changed the starter last winter. We changed the master cylinder and rebuilt the ram from the parts from Florida. Handy dang thing to have around...

I have had to replace the steering ball on my big Hyster twice, first time I used a trailer ball from TSC, next time I made one from from 4140.
