Very precise fuel maps and variable geometry turbo's would be major contributors.

That's an instance where I guarantee the relationship is only "open" on her side, and that if he ever decided to bang out some strange... She'd lose her #### and call him an a-hole.

Ole kurt Murry (Mr haney) sat down with me some yrs back and tried explaining how all that works.....I'm to dumb to of understood it. I know the trim codes determine how much fuel and electronic pulse is delivered to each injector. Some do the matched flow thing, I have yet to see a good set of flowed injectors that hold up well. One person can build a set of perfect ones but he lives across the pond and it isn't cheap. Someday when I get rich and famous maybe I'll try that !

I'm hoping it's something easy like a weak injector or broke injector spring...worse case burnt fire ring on a cylinder lowering compression which will cause a slight miss. If that's the case I got some parts I'm going to stick in it to make a little more fire !!......i love hp....lots of it !!

Had to make a run out to the toolbox:

Wonder how it'd sound with my phase shifter or flanger pedal? Guess I'd better head to the store for some 9 volts in the AM.

Once I had a bad injector that wouldn’t show up on a cutout test and wouldn’t show up empty. After 8 hrs of them chasing a non existent wiring short to the ECM they told me I needed a new ECM.

But I had a the service manager hook Insite up and sit in the passenger seat while I pulled a loaded trailer around the hood for a bit. Lo and behold if the dumb farmer wasn’t right all along......a failing injector but only under load.

However I was surprised looking the laptop how much they all varied in flow rates.
