yup that is us. I’m actually the next town west (Fairbury) but its all one community really.

should of gave a shout. I been around the house all weeks. I would of bought lunch.

 

Got the BBQ fired up again. Got some turkey breast, potatoes and carrots to grill up! No beer this time though.

 

Question for all you boys in the know cause I’m not — been wanting to get a new heart in Old Blue and I got the cash to do it — got an estimate for the following (every thing is installed):
New crate 350, carburetor and install kit —- $2800.00
Heavy duty clutch —$810.00
Super Flow exhaust system — $450.00
Few other things — total up to $4100.00
Sound about right?

 

I remember my uncle bought a GM crate 350 for his '86. Think it ran around about $3000 Cdn. That was 15 years ago though.

 

Clutch price seems steep, but the rest seems inline.

Btw that is a real truck unlike the modern 4x4 sissies nowadays.

Had a 82 k20 350 all time 4x4 with 4.11 gears. 5mpg in a good day. It was originally a fire truck. One tank to leave the house. One tank to get home. But you could latch anything you wanted behind it.
