Comin thru Illinois today seen an ol Allis working ground, an old 4630 John Deere pulling an 8 row planter. Took me way back to ridin on the fender of Granddad's 4630. Quad range transmission. Always took the duals off till after planting. I asked him one time how he kept his rows so straight. Just livin right was his reply.

More roofing shingles back to Nashville Tennessee. I think my trucks gonna slow down to 62mph, start fading to black, and put on some chrome stacks if they keep giving me these TMC loads.

Marcel Ledbetter told that city slicker from New Orleans “you can plant as much corn on crooked rows as you could straight ones”. That was just before Uncle Versie leaned him over the hood with that double barrel under his chin and asked him if he’d every kissed a mule on the mouth, LOL.

Almost done my calcium delivery and got my dispatch for the remainder of the week. Heading to Lincoln, NE with OSB and likely either picking up in KC, MO or Hays, KS.

Anyone got a line on some decent BBQ in the area north of KC on the I29? I've got a craving. Lol.

I can see a little history in that stretch of highway. Looks like back when it was concrete the lanes were 9’ wide.
