Ehh I don’t know if I agree totally with that. Mack definitely had a reputation as a “work truck” but there are a BUNCH of Pete’s that did the exact same work and provided a more comfortable work environment.1951 ford, cke, PoleCrusher and 19 others Thank this.

Around here no one could afford to work on a true MACK. Once road trucks hit 500 or so they were sold and day cabbed to make log trucks dumps etc. That's one reason you see so many Pete's doing that work they are the last one that's easily day cabbed. All the rest pretty well run an integrated cab. For those that think CAT is high dollar get a hold of a MACK you will see a whole different side of high dollar1951 ford, cke, PoleCrusher and 18 others Thank this.
