Best one I have for you. About 4pm get a emergency call from Berea Turnpike dispatch. Ex71 OTP had a semi on the top of a car in exit lane with 4 people trapped. I'm at the BP at Ex 91 Fremont Ohio. The call goes out for a heavy wrecker emergency response. I didnt even pay for the fuel. 1998 378 3406E 18 speed daycab, 30 NRC sliding rotator. We called it the 100 mph crane. Really it only ran 99. I get out to about the 74 or 75 mp westbound and have a bunch up slow trucks on the center and right. I hit the third lane and its wide open. There is a slight curve. In the middle sets a osp car windows down and radar on in a crossover in median wall. I passed him and see crap come out the windows. I get to the accident, pull into the lane left of the accident, set outriggers on curbs, swing boom and lift truck. FD get them out and no one was seriously hurt. Bout the time I'm setting it down and on hooking a rather rattled patrolman walks up. So he knew what was going on, this is why he didnt chase me. But he asks me "Mack do you know you were running 99mph?". "The wind sucked my papers and hat out of the flocking windows". We had a good laugh and went are ways. Guess the van trailers on the right, wall behind him and a 37 foot 64k truck running 99 mph creates a vortex effect.

Used to have some fun on that job back then. But the look on his face was priceless.

Always been one to get the job done and take the butt chewing later.

 

The Tesla was behind me. And protestors were down the highway protesting beef cows farting. At Harris ranch @stwik loves that place.

Some Asian lady gave me a thumbs up who watched me un- snarl the mess.
I was thinking I may end up on Facebook video some place. Lol

That car would have to have some sort of steering assist to remove the “human error” out of the controls. At 200mph, that track is narrow road. 300 would be unmanageable. Even for a pro.

 

It’s like 1/3 the size of the steak!!!!!!!!!!
