Alright, gang. I went and found the most recent number I could. This from the National Research Council's report on the 21st Century Truck Program in 2010. This at 65 mph with a typical OTR truck, which means an average fleet truck and van. (Plenty of interesting stuff in the source: https://www.nap.edu/read/13288/chapter/7) So that antique 250hp number that fell out my brain must have been at least a couple decades old.
This is 65mph, so to get the 120 mph numbers, the bottom 3 items are multiplied by 1.85 (120/65), and the aero by 3.41 (the square of 1.85)
Aero 389 hp 68%
Rolling 126 hp 22%
Aux 37 hp 6%
Drivetrain 22 hp 4%
____________
Total 574 hp
That's for an aerodynamic fleet truck on low-pro rubber. And while that number looks way more promising than the WAG of 1000hp I threw out last night, without doing the maths, it's a fairly safe bet that a typical O/O unfaired hood is going to need north of 700hp to go 120. -
congratulations!
You got 10 years on us....don't understand it sometimes....she's still here when I get home....lol -
Dependable too. No breaking down at the end of the driveway from the load of meaty goodness in the grill.

Yes sir. Chasing her around the house and the whole outdoors has worn me smack dab out. I thought about training with Amodel but that would require a hell of a lot more ambition than I have. And I'm not real keen on wearing a couple of adhesive mini bras just to keep the innocent bystanders from getting a free pokie shot. That, however, would be as close as I would get to crossdressing. But now you know.

We’re already planning

Oh horse sheet, that's built by a guy with a truck who can't even make it home. Let alone the driveway for dinner.
