Hopefully they can hang on.
It seems harder and harder these days to buy parts without starting with the VIN #, and then you are reliant on what the computer spits out. Heaven forbid you have changed components along the way.

Well here’s the good thing about this place..... Mike (owner) worked in parts at Freightliner for years, always been around truck parts most his life. When I call he doesn’t need a vin number lol, oddball stuff I just text him a picture and usually he’s off to the races with it. Most part numbers he knows right off the top of his head. He sells hog heads and transmissions too. I have one of his parts catalogs at home, if I’m working on a suspension I just find it in the book and call him with the part number. Not sure everything is that way but most is, including newer stuff..... -
