So @wore out , major f-up yesterday. I went to add the governor spring and washer yesterday. Printed off the photo that you supplied, was extremely careful to make sure the arm remained engaged and that I got the a/f ratio pin inserted, backed off the fuel and torque screw while it was easy, and reinstalled everything. Evidently one of the governor weights swung out in the process. When I went to turn it over the weights hit the housing and broke it out. Not sure what other damage yet. Ordered a new housing and will try again after it arrives.

Just the housing and set of weights. I hate that I missed your call I was napping. You get ready to go back together just holler and I will walk you through it

So like this?

Never really cared for the slammed lowrider deal. Put those pipes and chrome on the one I posted would look good though.

I’m absolutely no expert, just remembering different articles I’ve read. The ones I drove had Cummins.

One could certainly fit under the long hoods though, I would think.

I don't understand it myself, but with an air-ride front axle, it makes it really easy to achieve. Just hit the switches and you've got instant "stance". None of that old-school "cut out springs" work.

If or when I get to that point I’m checking out. I can’t bring myself to impose the sentence of being my nursemaid on anyone.
