Texas-bound on Sunday. Duncanville, TX for delivery on Tuesday, lumber load. Didn't even have to pick it up myself, lol.

Is the Hitchin' Post Travel Plaza/Restaurant near Gainsville, TX any good? I'm tired of staying at Peelots/Loves for the night. Their restaurant looks like some decent home cooked stuff.

Especially considering (what do they haul, grain?) their tonnage rate is probably in the few hundred a ton range? 52k versus 50k for each and every load could be an extra $200 in your pocket.

Well since it’s been a topic of conversation, here’s some fresh off the press live action scale tickets of my personal equipment, just to give an idea on tractor weights.....

@rank and I had a discussion about 3 yrs ago on my tractor, I’m thinking when I measured the wheelbase it was 253 inches. (2) 120 gallon tanks are 3/4 full on this weight. (10) 24.5 aluminum wheels with 24.5 tall tires. 50 inch aerodyne sleeper.

Hope this helps..... I dropped my trailer in the lot and re weighed.
