I do like the way your truck looks. I've also looked at a few of those as well.
Kinda sorta looking for a truck to put on the road so dad can run the 9200 and the biggest requirement of it is be comfortable enough that I can run a week at a time in it eventually so I dont want to cheap out on something I wont be comfortable in over a week to a week and a half.Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 10 others Thank this. -
LoL, if this is a 48" bunk, I've got a 14" hog leg in my trousers..

The dang 36" mattress is hard up against the back wall, & the tiny bulkhead behind the seats.
Doesn't surprise me freightliner would tell folks it's bigger though..Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 12 others Thank this. -
Seems to be close to the same size 386 I ran a few months back. Had about 8 to 10 inches of space between back of cab and mattress. Same size mattress you have pictured there. It was a mid roof unibilt and I could stand in it I'd just be calves against the bed and face on the front wall of the sleeper. Not the most comfortable I've ever been. But beat a daycab obviously.Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 10 others Thank this.

My daughter was born in 1988, and was conceived in a 1981 Cabover Shaker, you can do a lot in small spaces if you want too.....

I took the cabinet out behind the drivers seat so I can recline all the way back.Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 12 others Thank this. -
Depends how they are measured. Old school was inside space, modern is sleeper opening to sleeper outside back wall. Let's Paccar call a 48" sleeper a 52" sleeper and make it seem bigger.Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 10 others Thank this.

Definitely something I'd do. I pack light so I dont need a #### ton of storage. Just enough space to put my bag of clothes so it's not on the bed.Last edited: Nov 1, 2019

I'm just trying to get my nuts off and it's becoming a #### show. Times like this I'm glad I have the knobbies instead of less agressive on the drives
Mfrs getting stuck trying to get out of the warehouse.Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 11 others Thank this. -
It's a light truck for sure. This short of a bunk looks funny in a high top to me.Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 9 others Thank this.
