Am I the only one that thinks you’re not yourself? Posting pictures in the right lane. Now you’re eating at a well-to-do bar top?! Aren’t you supposed to be like the God of bullhaulers? Where’s the mud and sloppy joes with the beer?

Who am I kidding... I just had a pitiful dinner at the TA here in Mocksville, NC. Watching The Kingdom on Netflix. Gonna try this lil Mexican place tomorrow... gonna get sideways till the morning.

Lost 30$ gambling but the food was good....good way to burn a few hours.

 

Every gauge works on my 89......kind of a fetish for me. I will say that the right side fuel gauge bounces when it gets below half, but the left side is good.

 

Ain't perfect but it will do till I get the new stuff. Go up the road to the chrome shop for some new nut covers and bumper light in the morn.

 

For those of you that have a B model; I had an interesting lesson in replacing the diaphragm on the air to fuel ratio today. I know @wore out knows them inside and out, and he may have his bypassed, but there are a lot of springs that go in there. Thank god I have access to the customer version of Cat SIS or I would never have figured out how it was supposed to go together. It wasn't correct when I took it apart, but I didn't know that at the time!

 

All my gauges worked until this week. Front axle temp wire got caught in the driveshaft and I haven't felt like laying in a parking lot to investigate so it'll stay like that til I get home next week.

 

Good job! I can't even see a wrinkle!

 

Zoom in there is one there under the dirt. The fender flair has some dimples, I will take it to my buddies shop, he has an old roller I can run it through to make it smooth again.....i hope !

No sir mines not bypassed. I do have an original CAT manual that covers 7FB through the late 4MG with hyd return advance. Testing adjusting and diagnosis. Be glad to copy you any page of it and send to you if you ever need it
