Never got into competition. My car had two alpine 10s four Boston 6s two mids and four tweets. Town is eight miles away and half way I'd turn it down and say ####......it was clean and tight. I just wanted it to sound good. That bag of Mexican compactor under the floor mat might have helped....different times....it's past my bedtime...

Those are just my show cards what I keep in the hole is a B model CAT that will put just over 700 to the rollers and stay at operating temp. 3.36 rears and a 15 over that has a large step between 9/10 on tall rubber. We run direct most days at right at 6 mpg. We have run our share of long days, still can when the occasion calls for it. We can still put our shine on an turn heads when we roll in low and slow. Others have all that and more but no class or cool to go with it.

I'm with you up until it gets technical. Maybe I'll PM you so we don't clutter up this thread too bad (though it's kinda ok to do so)

Do I need a watt reader like in the video?

I don't get "the swing around 20 watts" part.

Back years ago I had a old kraco under the seat and a magnetic whip on the trunk....I'd sit out at night and listen...it didn't transmit. My stereo would wake dad up so I parked out front by the fence....but I'd sit out there and listen to that old cb for hours....

For me it was kinda like drag racing. I never let myself get into that cuz I’d mortgage the dang house..... I can’t stand to lose.

It’s a 750w kicker 3 channel amp. Problem was it was a 4 ohm speaker. Now I got them run together so I got it back down to 2 ohm load. These new amps are not what the old mosfet amps were. The boxes are real small but I still wanted to stow the top back there. You can see the little pads where it stows right above the speaker. It will rattle the mirrors in that little car now though for sure.

I have a question for the musical radio folks with knowledge here. What would it take to put a small not loud system in this truck that when the base hits it makes red lights flash with it.
