I’m doing what I dreamed of in Elementary school years.......

 

Hopefully that will get me by for a while, not really what I wanted but it’s solid and looks a hell of a lot better......

My 3 career choices since about grade 6 were haul logs, HD mechanic or welding. Mom and dad advised me to go get a trade, get the ticket and go truck afterwards if I still wanted to. Sounded like good advice since I saw how much my dad grew to hate trucking after 24ish years of it before he sold all his iron. That left welding and wrenching. By about grade 11 the idea of laying in a trench at -35 and welding pipe 12 hours a day did not appeal to me. I think if I ever found myself out of my current job (ie laid off) I'm going to hit the highway for a change of pace for a while.

 

If Hollywood were to attempt to make a movie about you, they would need some traumatic event from childhood and they would portray you as this brooding character that's stuck in this horrible dog eat dog world. You never see anyone happy in the movies.
