Finally went legal sometime around 93 or 94. I do remember the chauffeur LIC. 1,2,5 then changed somewhere in late 80's to letters A ect....

Thanks. I was poking around on a site headlight revolution (what a gay name) & the JW Speaker seem to be #1, with 2nd best being truck lite brand. For high & low 4x6 JW would run me ~$1400, & that's just insane. I ain't got $ like that to burn.

I prefer the older look of just the single reflector, but I've been really struggling in dark lately, & saftey trumps looks. I will see what Grote & Mishimoto have to offer in my size.

Good to know on the heated lens. If the price is right on something good, I may just skip it. I got an ice scraper, just might get a chance to use it, LoL..

 

What's your rig doing so close to that cat scale? I figured it was allergic to them things..

I think the Headlight Revolution guy is neighbors with the JW guys so take his reviews with a grain of salt. They are expensive for sure.

I went to using these a few years ago. Am really impressed with them and don't break the bank.

 

I'm not trying to get in your business because I have plenty of my own to tend to, but I'm going to verbalize a thought. By your comments all week, I'm going to step out on a limb and guess that you are having a lot of thoughts about a young lady that once was but no longer is. I've never came home to an empty house, but can't see how it would be pleasant. Trucking, what I'm seeing, isn't your problem, but rather the way you truck. I don't have a clue whether it is by design or your choice, but staying out a month or two at a time is not healthy for any relationship and very hard on a young one. You cover a lot of territory when you run, and I commend your work ethic, but is it worth losing a lady over? YOU control the truck. Never let a truck control you. You might not bring home the same amount of coin, but what good does money do if you don't have someone to spend it on? Time for me to shutup. Pick yourself up youngman. You are much too good to stay in the gutter of self pity.
