A guy on my hockey team is in the JTF maybe its him lol. He’s deployed back to the Afghan sand box day after tomorrow

 

It wouldnt bother me all that much, ive redone worse before, was only half a day to pull it. Its the bosses truck and his money but hes sort of leaving the decision on me since im doing the work. Which brings the burden of responsibility for the decision. If i say lets be frugal and just fix the clutch then it tears up the main box, well its my fault for not doing it when it was out. If i go thru the trans and something later goes wrong, itll be my fault cuz my hands were in there. Id really prefer he called the shots on this one. As the driver id prefer a reman exchange with warranty that takes the burden off me!

 

For those that don’t know, JTF stands for Joint Task Force which is some type of joint special secret unit between US and Canada and maybe others I don’t know. Buddy won’t tell me anything except he gets slot more money to be in it LOL. He’s real motivated to stay in shape because if he fails the physical he gets a big pay cut

he did tell me stuff about his training. IIRC he said the trainers shot and mutilated live pigs to simulate the screaming and gore they would see in combat. And they had to field dress the pigs wounds.

 

Does his horse get anything extra. That's animal cruelty. Asking a horse to be part of a special taskforce and its rider gets extra money.
