It's genetic. My wife puts together care packages for our military members overseas for Christmas.

I've had some great examples in my life. When he was younger he would ask about them and we always told him that without them we may not get to do all of the wonderful things we do as a family. We try to explain what freedom is.

@tramm01 This is for your son to see since he is on P-3’s. My Dad’s name is on the side along with others. This was one of the very first and the first in the ANEW project. They were all hand selected. Many of us in my family have served. Thankfully we all returned home. Much more fortunate than many. I’ll pray your son’s safety during his deployments. Godspeed
