    Nah I understand the shop issue. If you do something yourself and screw it up, meh, chalk it up as a learning experience. Now if you dont want to do something yourself, you take it to a shop and pay someone to do it. If it gets screwed up, what did you even pay for then? No matter what #### happens, just hopefully the shop will fix the issue and take care of it.
    I don't know what the reasoning is but there seems to be a lack of qualified good techs. Only 1 out of every 10-15 that do work experience with us through the local collage might actually make a decent tech. Some of the work I have seen from other shops is atrocious too. I think you guys might have a slightly bigger problem down in the states due to most techs are paid by the job (from what I understand) vs by the hour up here. Getting paid by the job seems to increase the eff it, good enough mentality.
