Well durn it! If I wasn't busy I'd come up and meet ya. My son goes to school later than normal today, it's his last day of 6th grade and I have to run him in and I also have a guest leaving this morning. Let me know next time your in town and have time, be great to meet you.

Have a good trip to T-town!

My MIL makes the best baloney salad (she calls it ham salad). My wife has the recipe and has tried, but she cannot duplicate it. It never turns out quite a sweet as mom's.

Well, my bucket of bolts is up and running again! For $36 a free delivery I can't complain. Found a crack in the factory fuel line, guess it was about time? 81 model lol. Didn't have to use the tubing cutter or the compression couplings, but had them just in case. IMG_2506.JPG IMG_2502.JPG IMG_2504.JPG IMG_2506.JPG

It’s funny how you can always spot the rookies the second a construction zone pops up... o_O

Im still in La, picking up a load of osb that I should've been able to grab Monday evening to turn and burn back to SA.

4:25 left on my 70, so it looks like Im sitting in Beaumont for a few, if they ever decide to load me.

No ac in the truck my boss dropped off to me. Luckily I got the hookup in Beaumont so Im gonna attempt to get it fixed. #### near 100 degree temps and no ac dont mix well in a truck. But the electric bunk ac works...like shat. Lol

Going through construction yesterday on 65 in Indiana, signs said... 55mph .... trucks use left lane. Rolling in the Montfort lane and got my doors dusted like I was nothing!!

Remember the show Beat the Clock? Well now it's moved from tv to the highway, at least it seems to me it has.

Had a Crete ridding the zipper in front of me on I76 through a construction zone doing 45mph. Had a tarp kit steel hauler behind me,

    “Pass him Melton...”

“He’s uhhh, riding the zipper like the concrete barrier is gonna sprout legs and jump out in front of him...”

I heard nothing but chuckling for the next mile before that steel hauler jumped left and laid a cloud on the two of us

    No no no no NO!!!
    You’re doin it all wrong!!

You are supposed to turn your hazards on while you put out your safety triangles and sit on the shoulder all night while wearing your reflective vest and waiting for the tow truck to arrive and take you and your truck to the nearest Kenworth dealership for a proper fix done right by professionals.

You dang rednecks is gonna get somebody killed out here jerry-riggin your trucks together like that.
