those were, and still are, my thoughts exactly. And I'm twice your age. Go with your gut instinct. Don't try to be something you're not. No shame in it. No one judges me for not filling my stable with colts.......I don't think.

And therein lies my problem. To "keep learning and evolving in order to keep pace with technology" would require me to spend 8 hours a day 5 days a week to do so. Quite frankly, I've got better things to do.

I have heard of later N14’s being converted to Mechanical with N14 parts. I honestly don’t know the parts needed for the change though.

My engine was a N14 430E 1992 model I think. I took all that computer junk off and used Big Cam parts to make it mechanical.

I was on another forum the other day. Guy ask about a Chevy with a V8 gasser with a 5 spd x 2 spd. I had to laugh at all the ignorant comments lol.... it’s not hard to tell who actually drive one when they comment lol.

I remember BASF having a twin screw Chevy with a 427 / 13 spd. My brother in law had a couple of them but they were twin stick trucks with V8 gas. A lot can be accomplished with a gasser and a 2spd, but everything has its limitations lol.

I use to get tickled at Mark and Ed lol....
Mark had a 69 Chevy dump with a sbc gas engine, and Ed had a early 8.2 Detroit V8 diesel. That small block Chevy would pull out and leave that diesel behind, until they got to rolling about 35 or so, then the torque of the diesel started shining through lol....
