Your right about that. Even if they were poor, they dressed up to be in public. Then again truck drivers didnt look like they just got out of the recliner/beach chair either.

we have one fella down here who is always, and I mean always, whining about having to deliver loads us OTR drivers get told to bring to the yard. Now, I have four whopping hours coming back tomorrow. Can you get three LA drops off in that time? Maybe. Maybe. But let’s remember it’s the Wednesday before Thanksgiving...

many places could be closed — and I later confirmed two of three will be closed. “Well why not deliver it today?” I got twenty minutes on my 70... “oh well you should’ve gone to one of the drops then.” And then what?

No reasoning with him — “I was told to come here. If you don’t like it you know where you can put your opinion.”

“well we can’t deliver it till Monday.”

cool? I ain’t sitting here till ####ing Monday.

something tells me it’s just him as everyone else at this yard is cool as can be and gets it.
