Pc of crap. Told me it had 46 rears.....not ! Frame had been spliced with a cutoff. His so called buddies had cannabilized the hell out of the truck and spare engine. The widow didn't realize or was BS ing me. I walk away from it. Bought a 2ws engine on my way back home for spare parts. So trip wasn't a total loss.1951 ford, peterbilt_2005, Feedman and 22 others Thank this.

Ha, don't think I'll ever sell either one. Still have a little project on the back burner tryin to button up by mid summer ! But from the sound of things I won't be taking much time off like I do this time of year. Just got the word it's gonna be balls to the wall till end of January !!!

Glider have to wait a bit?
Seriously, I have zero experience with that much power. I know monster runs well, but can you really utilize 800 hp on a long pull in heavy haul for any length of time without melting it down? Or do you need to be really disciplined at backing out of it before things get warm?
I end up backing out on long pulls on our little engine. Usually run it a split lower than what it might be able to pull. -
Yeah, you gotta pay attention to a few of yer gauges when pulling. Summertime I run my fan all the time. Never let it get over 215 deg. Like to keep it round 200 deg. I run by the boost and pyro gauge. Took me a lot of trial and error to come up with the right setup. But sometimes you just get lucky ! LOL in the higher elevations out west I may have to really be careful. My setup is for my area I run.
