Where is everyone #5

Ah, Scottish. My Dad's family emmigrated from Scotland to Canada. Mom used to make what she called butter tarts, which were similar to Mincemeat except more currents, baked in a muffin tin in a super flaky pie crust dough. My youngest daughter makes them for me each year. They are divine!

 

I'm fascinated by planes, but hate to fly if that makes sense. The B29 has a lot of KS history, built in Wichita and crews trained in Great Bend and Herrington. Thx for the pictures!

It was my Grandfather and Grandmother who immigrated to Canada and homesteaded in the hills near Aneroid SK. My dad was born on the farm in '34, third of 7. I spent 2 summers at grandads place as a 5 and 6 yr brat.

How goes the new job?

 

My grandfather was a test pilot and flight instructor on the B-25 Mitchell.

I see they covered up the name on the door. Wouldn't be too hard to guess who was driving it though
