A Stout should generally be around 55° for proper enjoyment.

 

I’ve had many servers ask though how I’d prefer the stout temperature wise... the purists like it at room temp so they can enjoy the flavor more.

I’ve never had the issue with it being cooled? I can taste it all the same it’s just more crisp...


stouts are good either way — very much an acquired taste unless you find something very smooth on the milk stout side of the realm. At that point your drinking a liquid chocolate candy bar with alcohol.

I'm not a fan of milk stouts. Too sweet for my taste.

I'll admit I've never used a multiplier......and I also admit that might be why I have trouble gettin' moving in the morning.
