most of my roads besides California Oregon and Washington state are all 70+mph roads

the truck calculates any time the motor is running so any time I’m idling, at a jobsite, whatever that clock is ticking down. 58mph I think is over 660-700 engine hours. Not too bad?

I shoot for 650/miles a day. Anything over that is money in my pocket. On the new ELD 700-725 in a 70mph truck seems to be about the best you gonna do. And that’s taking a two minute tire kicking session every 3 hours. Take that outta the equation and you could theoretically run 730-750 miles.

On the old Aobrd I had a few days in the 740-750 range...

Lost about 50/miles a day moving to ELD. Despite what the naysayers may say it definitely kills your clock faster.

    I run miles

    You unload/reload

I have weeks where I may not do any “work” above grabbing a bar and tighten a strap or kicking a chain to check tightness

    you do that daily

I’ve put on weight since Melton and it’s not all just from the beer ;):)
