He did not put a dedec3 cam in a dedec2 Unless someone changed cam gear previously. Different bolt size and tone wheel.

Ok, that's good know. After finding the old style retainers with clips on them, I'd highly doubt the cam gear was changed..

Just throwing it out there because we had a difference of opinion between ddec 2 or 3 previously.

I know right. Here I was annoyed about a 1.2mpg fuel economy loss & this is where I end up for trying to have the stinking overhead set..

Should have closed it up & been on my way. Pissed off a broker today too because I had to cancel on him. 1st time a mechanical failure has cost me a load.
Couldn't have come at a worst time of year with Thanksgiving, & Christmas fast approaching.. Sure wish I would have heed your warning..

 

I feel your pain. Mine still ain't right. Not gonna let anybody touch it though until it can go to the place that's always run overhead for me before, as long as it can be helped.

I read the post about the crap you've been going through with your rig as well. Then getting stuck on Wednesday because they sent the forklift crew home early. Utter nonsense going on out here man. Best of luck to you too. I hope things start looking up soon for the both of us..
