In a previous life I lived next to a majestic mountain lake.
I had sugar pine tree's , sequoia tree's in and around my yard.
When the pine cones fell from the trees it sounded like a bomb going off in the house.
Back to the story,
We had a family of bald eagles who lived in the tree by my house. Since I wasn't far from the water. Some government guy showed up telling me not to cut or mess with the tree. But also if anything happens to the tree to call him.
The tree trimming guys who work for the power company. Came up the road and was trimming. Needless to say I called the number, gave what info he asked for from the trim truck. Then watched out the window to see if anything would happen. Few min. Later and they pulled up stakes and made a small paint mark on tree and left.
I watched the bald eagles and red tails fly around my house for 6 yrs. That is an amazing site to witness. Glad your friend found the young bird in good shape.singlescrewshaker, Al. Roper, Wheeljack and 20 others Thank this. -
