    Idk. He looked like the typical 7/11 type. Not the Sikhs I've ran into. Prolly wrong.

    I just despise paid parking. I heavily considered just parking in the empty lot next door as the ultimate screw your paid parking.

    So I left and went and parked at the grainery. Which i had done originally but decided to drive back to the truck stop for a couple of drinks and figured meh I'll just stay here.

    Many thanks. And holy #### that seats far back

    @Lysdexis

    The 900hp mx13...

    When the first brought the MX13 over in EPA10 format, they wanted to run a reliability test on the dyno. The engineers at Paccar ran it up to 900hp and it sat there for days with no issues. I think it was done to help back up the B10 life claims and get some street credit for the new engine. They probably never publicly stated they did it because everyone would want 900hp then. (and some around here think its mandatory...;))

    It sound impressive but..... its just on a dyno. The ISM 11 litre engine can do 750hp in a marine application. I think the cat C13s were 800 ish in fishing boats. Also they came fully warranted. On road engines are usually the lower hp of all the other variants.

    Its an inch from the back wall of the cab. Its also fully aired up. Sits almost right on the floor with the low-rider base.
    Its the only way to go. Reaching the clutch is far overrated. Dont make money when your stopped. :)

    That's what I figured. Since I've seen alot of cat guys talk about marine cams and yada yada yada. So if a fella could theoretically get one of these engines and had his own engine management system he could push quite some impressive numbers from it in an off highway application such as a sled rig.

    Theoretically, yes. I would like to build a racing truck with an MX13 with dual or possibly triple DPFs to keep the exhaust squeaky clean and be somewhat competitive. I think it would be a riot to roll up to a truck race with a full aero 579 pushing quiet clean exhuast out and actually beat up on some of em. I really don't think It would have many fans though. Probably wouldn't make any friends either

    Well tbh I'd just like to have one that could actually breath without the dpf and all that but from what you tell me they dont like what people are doing to them to achieve this "green" status

    Yes and no. I've worked on some marine engines over the years in boats and one thing you have to remember they have a sea water pump feeding a large heat exchanger to keep everything cool so big HP numbers can be achieved. It's not just rotating parts and programming that make them capable of big numbers.
