Where is everyone #5

It was -30 yesterday evening. Bossman had me download an ECM on a machine out in the yard and in the 10 minutes I was out sitting in the cab my hands went completely numb. Yes I was wearing gloves.

 

I can about imagine. I greased the conveyor yesterday afternoon and trying to push grease through the gun was about impossible.

Do you need your laptop plugged in to a power source while you do that? I would think without one the coldness would kill the battery quick?

Sounds like tonight and tomorrow morning is gonna be the coldest.

It looks like it gets in the 20's next week so we'll fire back up on our corn.

 

It held up. I never actually watched the battery gauge but I'd imagine I wouldn't get more than 20 minutes or so out of it. I always keep it on charge in the shop so its good to go.

 

This week's a good week to grow a beard

 

I don't normally grow a beard. Not since those hipster fairy boys started making it their thing. Usually just rock the goatee or handlebars, if anything lol. I've got a good ski mask I wear outdoors.

I'm on my week off, I don't plan on it either

I'm hoping it warms up to about -15 soon. I've been wanting to take a day trip on the winter road up to the north. Its a somewhat remote road so I wouldn't want to do it at 30 below.

 

Always something around here...

 

Yeah the local battery store is making a killing this week.

 

Knocked off the corn now a 3 hour deadhead to get some soybean hulls.
