If you're on a cruise, you should have consulted with the resident cruise experts, @wore out and @Ruthless before leaving. :D:D

    I don't like 15 speeds.
You have 13 available gear options: and the final is like 12th in a rtlo13 speed.

13 or 18 is it for me.

HA! He would have made it if that sign didn't get in his way..........corporate must have one office with all 4 walls plastered with pics like that. Like that Farmers insurance commercial- "we've seen almost everything, so we cover almost anything".

Both my trucks have 15 speeds. I wouldn't trade either one for a 13 but would like a 18. I use the deep reduction anytime I'm loading, unloading, starting out on a incline, or backing up. Saves alot on the clutch, transmission, and drivetrain. My cat runs around 800hp so I don't need to downshift much. My original tranny lasted 1.5 million. Reman had 300k when I pulled it to put in a clutch. It had a little noise so pulled the top off while I had it out. A couple gears needed shimmed. When they pulled it apart all the bearing cages were broke. They had since changed the supplier for them since that reman. Was always loaded to 96k till recently. Now run either 80 or 90k.

7-UP, Crusader66, Oxbow and 4 others Thank this.
