Hoss: You must have been caught up at the Ponderosa a long time. Ferguson invented the 3 point hitch. It was sold only on Ford tractors and was labeled Ferguson Lift System. Ford paid Ferguson patent royalties for each unit they made. Ford dropped the name and quite paying the royelity. Ferguson got pissed off and started making tractors. Also filed a lawsuit. I thank that took about 20 years and Ford had to pay Ferguson about 5 million dollars in the 50's.
Massey Harris went together with Ferguson in the late 50's. Massey Ferguson.
You are kind of on the wrong forum for this Hoss but some may find it interesting. Most anything goes on #5. That is all off the top of my head and open for correction.
I bought some really good tires off a junkyard Massey Harris combine and put them on a Case tractor. You are making me feel old Hoss!

 

I passed a werner truck with an rgn and a wind tower hub coming out of siemens the other day. About wrecked trying to make sure I saw the name on the truck correctly.

 

I remember when I went through school they had a flatbed dedicated in Florida

believe it was all PODs

 

Extra special for me since I’m a Case tractor nut, and those are all Case tractors lol.....

We had to put our dobe down 2 years ago. He went pretty quick so at least he didn't suffer.

They don't live very long but they live like kings, esp making it to 15. Man i got a lump in my throat now.
