Woo! Made it to the Petro here outside of Ocala... only downside is I can’t get empty tomorrow. Place is by appointment only and mines for the weeeee hours of Friday morning. #### place as grocery warehouse hours...

So, I’m swinging my the house tomorrow since I may as well be good as dead if the misses doesn’t see me tomorrow.

“I cleaned today and everything!!!”

“and it won’t be clean still Friday at noon?”

Needless to say she guilt trip me into taking a detour

 

Priorities....stinky finger done pulled more than one good coon dog off track...

 

The old timer i bought my reefer from used to work for Campbell's 66.

 

Hear my brains rattle I guess . Lord knows they won't pick up what I'm laying down lol.

 

Did you have glaucoma at the time? Did it make you a sharper and clearer thinking driver?

 

@beastr123 : That was sure a pleasant drive buddy, thanks a lot. Only congestion I hit was in OKC, lol. I even slept in a little till 5:00 and still made it around Dallas in no time.

 

Oh I was biting my tongue...then they went and trashed wander's thread. Guess some schools or parents didn't teach economics 101...

 

I'm looking at 1442 miles to my delivery and only 27 hrs 48 min to do it in. I told them it was going to be tight, but dam man, not this close.

I don't want to end up at the job site and run out of hours and need to reset there, so I'm going to get pretty feisty if they want me to deliver with less than 3 hours left. No way that's happening.



Anyways, I made it to Belleville, KS at the Loves like I planned, thankfully, and picked up a couple new things along the way.



Finally, a proper driving hat. Free with J points too. Fits just right.


And my new best friend in the tool box. Been looking for a quality knife with window punch and seatbelt cutter. Wasn't expecting $24.99 USD for it, nor the quality brand at that price.

 

I could handle that right about now.
