    Thank You!!
If you heat the center of the roll and keep the outside cool, it helps the roll hold it's outside shape. If that makes sense. The hot center part will move while the cooler outside won't.

Not gonna lie, I scared the #### out of myself as well.:D

Can someone help me with a pusher axle? At what point is one required? I'm guessing it varies but just the short and dirty version of it.

Say I've got a truck that's got a 12k pusher on it. I've got an rgn that's also got a 12k tag axle. Does that mean that I can legally scale out at 12k steer, 46k drives and, 46k trailer for a total of 104k if permitted for it?

Just trying to understand how that whole thing works and what a guy can legally carry.

There's not a short and dirty. Axle, bridge, and state regulations. Super posted here awhile back what he was licensed for in each state.

Benefits of an rgn vs a double drop?

I saw that and I guess I need to clarify. Just on the factor of capacity alone is what I'm trying to figure out. If I add a 12k pusher or 20k pusher to a truck does that give me 12/20k more capacity for the drives?

You'll play heck getting twelve on without a bigger front axle.

unless you and I are thinking of two different things...

You can’t detach a double drop. Side load only.

Alright so if you took a regular spec truck that's 12/40 and say you put a 20k pusher on and swapped the steer out to an 18k unit. Can you get a new tag for the door that reflects those changes? Otherwise how would you get passed at a scale or whatever if they were checking you?

I'm just trying to understand how you increase the capacity of a truck to be able to heavy haul with it. No I dont plan on doing that I'm just curious.

Most of the ones I saw, new ones at least, said they were mechanical rgn. Because I too thought a double drop was also a side load only.
