Finding these square edge Pete wheels is getting tough. There's a set on the front of the kid's T6....he might be getting some new wheels.

Well we're sitting in Santa Nella, CA looking for freight and pondering...

So I had a kid before meeting my wife, who found me today through my other kids' social media. He wants to call me. The boy would be 20 yrs old now I believe. Don't blame him for wanting to get in touch, but man I'm kinda having a hard time with it. I know, put my big boy panties on...

Ahh...no. it would take alot of work to get it looking good enough for that.

The other side someone painted white and the paint is pretty thin. I'm debating whether to sand it on down or just repaint it. I'll probably sand it and see what it looks like.

    Just teasing you. LOL

I would sand it with 600 grit and run the yellow wheel and green bar. It should turn out nice.

LoL, me too! I can't help myself, 9 outta 10 times I waltz in the Waffle House, that's what I get. I've been at least 100 times over the years & the only samplings I've had other than texas BEC are pork chops, & the t-bone & eggs.. :D

It hasn't been a big issue yet, but I see it on the horizon..
To be honest this has been the heaviest load I've had on so far. 25,350. The right weight scale on the trailer was only showing ~20k. Minus trailer axle tare of ~8k. Truck axle tare is ~9k. My GUESS is the drive was over at around 21k-21.5k. Partially why I was texas 2 lane'n last Saturday.. I may have been able to get it legal,? had about 10" of 5th wheel slide left..

I'm tagged for 54,999lbs. Leaves payload of 28,340, rounded down to 28k for my ol lady who sets up most of my freight. Till I get an air psi guage for the drive, & figure what psi 20k lbs is, I'm thinking I need to tell her 25k lbs + needs to be 40' or shorter to keep the drive in check.?

2.5 weeks ago when I was in Ohio, it was a bit sketchy for me. Saw some slick patches up by Elyria, & North Olmsted. The 1 wheel wonder (no diff lock) spun a few times on me.. o_O

This yard was slick too.. 20200120_171950.jpg
