    That would be from the high drive pressure the vgt turbo creates. You can second gen swap one and it never have an issue

    Yeah I forgot to add that the 97 was 475 and my 96 is at 455.

    When the higher horsepower part does make since to me.

    Someday I plan on turning mine up to 475 it’s got the wrong pistons for higher and with what I do I don’t need any more than that, but first I think it needs a 13spd

    I thought about doing that, if anything just to be rid of another potentially problematic moving part, but that would cost me the exhaust brake.
