Been a few years ago. But I got rip roaring drunk in Beckly. The Chevy garage took better part of the day to get is 2 20" tires for the wifes Pontiac while we were on are honeymoon. The West Virgina turnpike ain't no place to break a belt in a front tire. Met some dang nice people during a bad situation.

    Time to get rolling.

Use to be a coal mine down that way in the little town of Itman WV. we hauled coal out of. Small town. Turned a hard right off main rd over tracks then a hard left on main drag ( making sure ya didn't tear the awnings down off store fronts as you turned) end of town another hard right then over a truss bridge that sat at an angle and you had to watch your trailer tires didn't hit the truss support when you crossed ! 3 miles to the coal tipple to load. Remember back then WV had weight limit routes. Primary rds. Were 73500 lbs, secondary rds. We're i think 68000 lbs, interstate 80000lbs.
We would load up till coal was running off side boards. Every Monday we would pay our gratuity to the portable scale man when we pull out the gate on that 68000 lb rd. Fine was $34. Say morning and see ya next week. LOL FUN TIMES !!

Anybody have any thoughts on the cost to move a 450 JD crawler loader (16,300-16,800 lbs, depending on where you look) from the SE side of Tulsa to So. Hutchinson, Ks?

Gotta love how the ELD trips from PC to the Drive Line at 6am for no reason other than the fact that automated technology is gonna take my jerb in a few years.........

Well now I’ll have to fly over Snoqualmie later on thanks to the wonderful 14-hour rule... good thing I’ll be less than 40k gross
