You fellas is hard on equipment.... Lol

Do you keep the old duals when you trade combines???

Just curious if that was from fatigue or a bad rim?

We had 13 models and traded for 15's couple years ago. The 15's had smaller duals and had them swap out our old ones.

The rims are almost 7 years old. We do treat our equipment well. I'm thinking it's a bad rim but gonna call dealership Monday and see if they heard of others breaking and why.

Curious is if the dual rims they sell are new....reason I ask is I drive through Radcliffe Iowa fairly regularly cause my daughter lives close by. They have a place that reconditions wheels.

Most of them I notice they paint yellow.

I'm sure the dealer would note if they are new used...just curious if that ever comes up when you are trading.

Interesting. I believe these rims are made by Titan and should be a date when they were built. I'll have to check that out.

When we have traded equipment in the past I haven't heard the dealer say that certain rims are new used ones. They very well could be used ones all fixed up.

Im gonna pay attention when we order a replacement. I'll let you know.

That is strange break for something that doesnt travel very fast. But off road is hard on stuff. Were any fasteners really tight? Just imagine the dealer used a impact till they quit turning.

Everything was good and tight. I imagine that's all they did was use an impact till it stopped. Those bolts are suppose to be torqued to 524 ft lbs.

That's my guess, but just fatigued or poor metal quality does happen too. At least you caught it before it fell off in the field. That's still a good day.
