D’oh!

Honestly — no. This is the first home I’ve lived in down here where the grass isn’t super thick throughout the yard like St. Augustine.

Believe it’s more of a Bahia type. Lots of sand around the houses here in North Port. Unless someone purposefully goes outta there way to grow St Augustine.. Bahia seems to be the common choices

 

Oh 10-4. I’ve never been around Bahia.

Guy I load with sometimes, today said he's got a Galaxy 98 VHP he's wanting to sell. Looked like a good clean radio.

Told me last time he had it on a meter, it was around 200 watts. My Connex 4600 is pushing 175. I'm happy with it, but I thought bout trading my spare radio ( Styker 497) and some boot.

What's y'alls opinion?

 

As far as power, you have to double your power to make 1 S-unit of difference on the other end. So the difference between 175 and 200 will be unnoticeable really.

As far as the radio, I’ve never owned one but I hear they are nice and loud.

 

Yeah I kinda figured power wise I prolly wouldn't notice any, but as far as radio, I wonder if there's much issue with them or and problems.

The Stryker I have is a nice radio, but I don't like how bright the illumination is at night. It's never been my favorite radio but it's been reliable with zero issues. Just wondered what you guys thought

 

I been wantin to try one of them 4600 turbo radio's

What kinda power does the Stryker put out?

 

It's been a while, but last I had it checked I think it was somewhere close to 100w
