My first day at my current employer i am coming down 85 in the fast lane, blink blink blink, look in mirror, ease over to the slow lane and when i look back out the window.. Phoom... A pickup truck going about 90mph in the wrong direction passed me right where i was 3 seconds prior.. And exploded into someone just before leaving my view, killing them. Still turns my stomach.PoleCrusher, OLDSKOOLERnWV, jamespmack and 9 others Thank this. -
And for todays sad news, i took a load to nashville today. There are buildings the size of walmart laying flat on the ground. It was bad out there. Think of all these people who are just coming to grips with the reality that they dont even have a house to put a fridge in.. And now this BS where there is no food on the shelves to put in it. Terrible situation to be trying to bury a loved one and now be all alone thru some virus scare. Those folks need your prayers.

Have to deliver to a house in Highlands NC today with a 260" tractor and 48 spread. Took a look at the area and cant see any possible way to do this. -
Looked to be an older gentleman driving with his wife. I called 911 in hopes they could run blocker for him. I have a gut feeling the sun was in his eyes and he made a wrong turn....? -

What's worse is how many will die because of these people's irrational fear.
My wife is a nurse, so she talks with other nurses and doctors regularly. For brevity's sake, we'll just say that a lot of medical professionals that she works with are more concerned about the panic than the bug.
Anyhow, we know someone whose wife has MS. She needs a medication that is very expensive, $65k a yr. He works a part time job in addition to his full time job to enable them to afford her medication. He just got laid off from his part time job for a month. This will put the man's wife at risk if he can't figure out some way to pay for drugs she needs.
Now if there's one story like that, there has to be more.BoostedTeg, cke, Tug Toy and 12 others Thank this.
