Where is everyone #5

Thanks for bringing this up. That's a real tragedy and those people are in real need. More and more this whole deal is really starting to piss me off. People are being hurt because of a media driven panic over a bug that's been around for a long time.

 

Pit stop for a wiz..? You trying to tell me ya ain't got a gallon jug of Arizona tea in the bunk you keep filling for a few days, then dump on the hot asphalt, or better yet a hole cut in the floor..

Sheesh, how you plan on lay'n down the big miles, making big bucks, acting like a decent human being..?

 

4 times in my career. 3 times in Mississippi (twice on I-59, once on I-10)

I can understand why that happens on 59. They have some crazy on-ramp. The shot I almost took on 10 rattled my cage, because that was the first time I didn’t see it coming. Running all night, stepping East, right before the scale, had a bigrig pass me and then a pickup. Big rig switch over in front of me and the pickup went to pass him, but slammed on the brakes and cut right in front of me. I was going left to avoid rear ending the pickup, when this fool came flying by going westbound. Over and gone before I could even blink.

 

Only once have I seen a wrong way driver. Stopped to stretch my legs. Jump back in my pickup and a pickup towing an RV pulls out of the nearby campground, turns left and heads straight down the left lane. I hopped back out and waved the guy down as he got towards me. Once I pointed to the Do Not Enter sign he stopped and started backing up to get back to the intersection.

Probably an easy mistake to make, highway was 2 lanes east/2 lanes west. At this particular point the east and west sides split around some people's property, so you can't see the other lanes. The elderly fella in the RV probably had a brain fart.

 

6, this is exactly why I get bent when I see these ### hats driving down the road with their hoof on the dash Today rolling down I-79 here in the Hillbilly I come upon a truck doing 55 mph in a 70 mmmmm ok he is governed...? When I got the chance to pass him, I noticed he had a small iPad or big cell phone ON THE DASH leaning against the windshield, and was watching a movie or face timing someone....? And when they crash and burn all you hear is “ Those nasty unsafe truck drivers”!! P i sses me off!!


On a side note..... gonna see if I can find my 10mm.... might do a quick engine swap......

Gonna walk over to the Robins Nest and check out the menu, pictures to follow.....

there are 15 blade trucks 5 tower trucks 2 nacelle trucks gearbox trucks parts trucks

all sitting around - someone on the crane crew had the sniffles and no one is sure what they might do

 

Current situation

 

They paying a decent detention rate? How’s the weather BTW?
