If I had the $$ for my own truck I might... But my wife would have a fit, when we were still dating I got smashed pretty good by a big angry bull that was destined for the slaughter... I was trying to get him out of the trailer. He was the last one to come off, and since he was by himself in the nose he didn't have any friends to follow out the back. I had to retreat to the dog house 3 or 4 times, I was trying to get pasted him to get the center gate closed to lock him to the back half of the trailer. I finally got me and the gate past him, he rammed the gate hard enough that it jumped the slam latch. Then he proceeded to crush me between the gate and the wall. When he let up for a min I was able to get the lower half of the midship exit open and fall out. I think he's have killed me if that gate hadn't been between him and me. That incident shook up the misses pretty bad and she made me promise that the first opportunity I got I would walk away from hauling cattle.

 

Since you are out of town, and the truck is securely parked, and this is blitz week I have an idea. I’ve gotta go to West Memphis tomorrow, so a few mins before I cross the scales, I am going to call and say there’s a maroon and black Peterbit grain hauler all over the road coming across the bridge.

I will give them only a partial tag number, I promise.

This is true... But that particular run was a 1 day run and back same night... So she rode along with me that day. Needless to say she was the one that drug me away from the trailer and got me propped up against the chute... Balling hysterically... Not exactly something I could hide from her... Took everything I had left in me to keep her from calling an ambulance. I was hurt pretty bad and bleeding but everything worked so i wasnt going to a doctor... Not right then any way... Someone else got the bull off the truck and I drove it home, and took a few days off... 2 days later I finally went to the doctor and he said I had a broken rib... Well you kniw What they do for that right?... A lot of nothing and a bunch of time.
