Don’t you just love that?

At that speed difference they wouldn’t even have to slow down. You’d be long gone in a minute.

One day while my nurse Foxy Roxy was checking my vitals I entertained her with a story about an old time actor.
I said You've probably never heard of him, cuz you're kinda young, but he was once considered the world's most famous Armenian American. His real name is Krekor Ohanian. As an actor he was known as Mike Connors. He starred in a popular TV show called Mannix.
As I guessed she was not familiar with him, but she liked the story.

I think ole boy if you go with big rubber you'll think your motor is even more underpowered than it is now. Your ratio was matched to that horsepower for a reason. I think you said you had 4:10's? Well with 24.5 rubber it would be more like 4.00 or less if there was such a thing. You think it sucks in the hills now.......then add more rotational mass like @jamespmack said and you're gonna be suckin' hind ### for sure. Personally, I would not do that to my motor, eventually that will come back to bite you. IMHO

Back off a few rpms and a few mphs and save on wear and tear on your equipment. That's where the real savings is.....especially with your motor.

I just regeared mine this past weekend, but I went with shorter gears, and I can see an immediate improvement on my motor's stress.

I never go more than 59mph (New England) and no one can make me. And I feel like my equipment (and livestock) are better off for it.

Like James said, don't get behind me on the lights because I don't horse it! I drive like it's broke. That's how my Detroit likes it.

You don't have a big cat, with heavy rears...be kind to ole buck...!

Sounds like work is starting to slow down a bit again. Gonna see about taking a couple days off. May as well burn some vacation time off since that ship's sailed for this year :(
