As far as I am aware Series 50, and series 60 11.1,12.7,14l DDEC 1-4 yes that I have worked on. The later DDEC5 which was 12.7l ,14l was different with the compact gear train.

Except the DT466 rebranded at a series 50. I dont really know the history of that or why. Only ever seen then in spotter trucks. Maybe some one know the story on them.

 

Don't know. Can't really appreciate it hearing on a phone's speaker, but that exhaust is thumping. Almost made me break out into a pagan rain dance.

He put air ride on the rear suspension. I'm wondering where he hid the compressor.

 

Hows that.? Ain't a DT466 a 7.6L 6 cylinder..
A 50 I thought was a 12.7L missing 2 cylinders making it 8.5L 4 banger..

Only ever seen one series 50. Looked at a '97 FLD112 with one. Think it was 320hp/1150tq.? Nice little truck, but couldn't bring myself to buy it. Had a fiery red interior, & exterior. For some reason I get agitated being surrounded by red..?

 

1st time i saw a 50 series was in the oilfield. Had no idea before that. My dad for a bit had a road commode with a 238 solid mounted seat and straight pipes. Half the old rig hands are deaf from the screaming jimmies running everything lol. Penske did right when he came in the picture

Had an 85 2500 with the 6.2 na when we were kids. Sitting in a friend's barn still

Speaking of the patch. Those QSK 60L V16 cummins 2700hp were a site to behold when they fired em up esp if they were cold

 

I am almost certain that is a Honda Shadow. You can see the spark plug wire at the rear head up under the seat. 2 plugs per head and they 3 valve engine gives it the sound. Six, I had a 750 shadow I believe you can get a nice air ride for them if I recall. I never bought one. Struts that you can manually add air, and some with compressor. Been a few years cant remember who made them.

 

LoL, yeah I watched a few other of the videos that popped up after you linked it. Saw a guy raising it up & down with a button or valve.. Slick..

Looks like there is a air bottle up by the fork..

Thought I read Honda down there by the wrapped exhaust in black & was shocked.! I know little about bikes, but was not expecting to see the Honda label on that beauty..

 

I'm talking about the modern 4 stroke Series 50 used in busses and small equipment. 4 cylinder based off of series 60. Your talking about a 53 series two stroke I'm assuming.

 

I aint a motorcycle type of guy but that is a bad ### bike !!
