Where is everyone #5

So I took our T-600 today to grab the last load of bowling equipment. On the way down and back I heard a whooshing sound every time I accelerated. Drove me nuts.

Get home and grab the dawn dish soap and found bad cac boots. 3 had holes in them and one needed the clamp tightened. I don't usually drive this truck often but glad I caught this. I had 3 new ones in the shop so I installed them. It should run better now.

 

You ever blowed one???

Never have but I heard it's loud when it happens. I guessing these would of popped in the near future.

 

You pull that out of the back of the barn....filters two years old...lol

 

I was waiting for someone to catch that. LOL We only put on 5,000 miles a year with that truck.

 

I've lost a clamp but the boot was intact.... I carry extra clamps now but need to get a extra boot.

 

I thought the only T6 you had was a dump truck.....my memory ain't so good.

 

I've never lost a clamp but carry an extra one in the truck. I think @Superhauler doubles his clamps up but he's pushing a lot of ponys.

 

We have 2 T-600's and the dump truck is a T-800. All trucks have yellow engines.

 

Yep, double clamps, extra clamps, extra boots. Haven't blown one in a long time.....now I've jinxed myself !
