this truck is parts only and is a 81? My buddy bought this truck when it was 7 months old in Cleveland Ohio.

My other buddy is building a 75 model and using the parts from the 81....

I drug it in for him yesterday afternoon, by that evening it was a bare frame lol, they stayed right after it. He’s going to use the 81 cab since the dash is in better shape and has the O/O dash setup....

When I was a kid, we used to have to go fishing. Got done fishing, we had to cut the heads off, scale em (knock the scales off), clean the guts out, filet them and freeze them. And be quick about it. Ate lots of fish growing up. Was watching this video and I am glad that I never had to do a job like this (did work on a roofing crew, and that WAS extremely difficult work), but if I had to in order to work, I would have. It really didn't matter if I liked it or not, it only mattered if it was work.

The most grueling job I've had so far was doing the beer delivery. Started out at 4am and got home at 11pm. No AC in the truck. Hit the grocery stores, then the convenience stores, then the bars. A couple times a week, had to go into the hood to bring malt liquor to the Koreans stores. On a hand truck. Double stack, fully loaded, 600lbs on a hand dolly and running. Empty the truck out and go reload. Get a couple roller dogs and a coke, kill both dogs and the coke before you could fast walk back to the truck. Get home at 11pm. You didn't sleep, you just quit moving for a couple hours. Saturday afternoon, I would finally go to sleep.

"How much did it pay, Six?"

$.15/case. Sounds like big money, doesn't it? The biggest issue I had was that the beer distribution company had what was called 'pre-salesmen.' They would go into the stores and bars the day before and take the order. Sounds pretty good, doesn't it? That would allow you the driver the ability to run more beer. The problem was that these so-called salesmen some times would not visit the store and just automatically order the previous order. So, one week, I would deliver 2 cases of Amstel Light to a store. The next week, there's 1 case of Amstel light still sitting in the storage area and the cooler is full. How many cases of Amstel Light should be ordered? 1. Salesman orders 2.
Next week, there are 2 cases of Amstel Light sitting on the floor and the salesman ordered 2. No, I cut the order.

"You are a driver, not a salesman! You are not allowed to cut that order!"

But then, when the beer gets outdated, you and the salesman both get deducted from your check, the wholesale cost of the case of beer. And they want you to throw it in the dumpster. Sorry amigo, I paid for that, it's going home with me.

"You are not allowed to sell that beer!"

I'm not selling anything. I will give it away.

So, by the end of the week, you have 20-25 cases of beer sitting at your house. That cost you on average $7/case. Or $175 deducted each week from your check. On the other hand, all of your beer drinking friends, family, friends of friends and family are all appreciative.
